Knit Me A Blanket!

The common misconception of knitting is an old lady sitting in a rocking chair. Well, I would like to change that idea and turn it into a bunch of crazy college kids sitting on a bed with a bag of yarn to their left and half-finished blankets on their laps.

scitchetknits: Here is the top of the hat.  Knit this part after panel two.  The blue squares are a knit 3 together (you can do symbol charts and color charts, but I couldn’t get symbols in color charts). There are two different k3togs that I like:  The first one is slip 1, knit 2 together, pass slipped stitch over.  The second is slip 2, knit one, pass both slipped stitches over together.  The second one looks better, but the first one is easier to knit. Have fun knitting!  If you knit one of these hats, let me know and send picks!  I’ll post pictures of mine when it is done.
